In 2021, Vuance was invited to collaborate with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona to develop conceptual proposals for the redesign of the outdoor space in front of the Faculty of Engineering. The existing site, which had long been underused, was identified as an opportunity to create a new social hub for students, faculty, and visitors.

Architecture + 360º & Movement
The development:
Two alternative designs were created, each presenting different ways of transforming the area into a vibrant public plaza. The proposals included new green spaces, shaded areas, and multifunctional zones designed to host cultural events, informal study sessions, and everyday gatherings.

Visualizations
Through high-quality visualizations, Vuance was able to communicate the potential of the project in a compelling and accessible way, supporting the rectorate in securing funding for its implementation.

One of the proposed concepts was eventually selected and has since been brought to life, reshaping campus life at UAB and demonstrating the power of architectural visualization in turning ideas into reality.
